Music I always have liked creating music and singing. Due to a lack of support, I never had many chances to study music. I was able to take singing classes and piano during my senior year in High School, which is a very late time to start. I did take a few college classes and was in the band, which was fun, but didn't lead to further study. Plus, I always had problems in learning to play the piano, so that went by the wayside, as well. Today, personal computers open new doors for people, who have a strong desire to create music, but had few options to do so. With the addition of software programs like GarageBand from Apple and Cubase SL, you can now create rather professional sounding recording. It is not like a real band, or a professional studio recording, but it is very good, none the less. I decided to use this section of this site to share some of my creations. It is just for fun, and in hopes you might try one day this options. But if you wish to try, you will need the proper system to make it work at its best. Here is a link to some tips for GarageBand. Follow the links below to some sample tunes I created. I have links for Quicktime Players and Realtime Players. They do play best on cable modems and the newer faster computers. Phone modem takes some time to load. |
