I do not have any samples of the wood except these old fading color photos. Most of the wood was sold to gem and mineral collectors in Germany. These were actually the trunks of trees. The tree rings and bark could still be seen. The petrified wood ranged in colors from black to pink. It polished to a glass like finish.
