Looking east from the roof of my parent's house after a spectaclar thunderstorm. The wood structure in the foreground is an authentic (uncovered) covered wagon. This use to be sagebrush and natural grassland before the area was settled about 1900. The countryside around Edna Purviance's home looked similar in her day.
